This is the story of Suzhou Embroidery, a 2,500-year-old dance of needle and thread. 

Born from the misty canals and classical gardens of Suzhou, this art was often called the "poetry of the needle."

The magic lies in its breathtaking delicacy. A single silk thread can be split into as many as 64 strands, each finer than a human hair.

With these threads, artisans perform a silent symphony of stitches—"Ping," "Qi," "Xi," "Mi"—creating lifelike textures and a play of light that rivals oil paintings. This is why it's known as the "Eastern oil painting."
